More About Founder, Thomas J. Manzi
Founder, Thomas J. Manzi, has a long history of public service and accomplishments in and out of the courtroom as well as a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges and legal needs.
Prior to starting his legal career, Thomas served the community and our country as an EMT-CC, volunteer firefighter, and U.S. Army soldier. In 2010, he was deployed to Northern Afghanistan as a Combat Engineer assigned to the 10th Mountain Division in support of
Operation Enduring Freedom, and where he received an Army Commendation Medal.
During his time in the service he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs and Emergency Management from Empire State College. After separating from the U.S. Army in 2011, Thomas received his Juris Doctor from Maurice A. Deane School of Law. While there, Thomas served as president of the Veterans Legal Assistance Project and as a Pro Bono Scholar at the Veterans Rights Project of Nassau / Suffolk Law Services.
Prior to founding his firm, Thomas J Manzi P.C. worked as an Associate Attorney in the Elder Law department of a leading Garden City Law Firm where he handled various matters including Elder Law, Estate Planning & Administration, Guardianship, Veterans Rights, Real Estate and Disability Rights.

Thomas Manzi founded Thomas J. Manzi, P.C. in 2018 with the goal of providing legal services in a personal and meaningful way to those in need. He has focused his practice in the areas estate planning, estate administration, elder law, Article 81 guardianship, residential real estate and debt defense.
Thomas Manzi draws upon his experience as a combat veteran and volunteer firefighter to provide clients with a sense of security and reassurance during their most stressful times.

Thomas Manzi received his Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Empire, graduated from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2016 and received his M.S. in Human Resource Management from Hofstra in 2018.
While in law school, he was the President of Veterans Law Student Association and clinic coordinator for the veterans clinic with provided pro-bono legal services to veterans.
Thomas Manzi is dedicated to serving local veterans and is always happy to speak with veterans and their families about benefits they may be entitled to.
